Wedding Inspired Makeup Looks | VIDEO

Hi everyone! Wedding looks are always so much fun to create and I partnered with Nykaa to create two beautiful wedding inspired looks. The first look is a Royal Wedding look where I’ve done a soft golden brown eye paired with a deep wine lip. I loved the green anarkali and the temple jewellery that the stylist arranged for this look at the shoot. This is a timeless look that can be worn by anyone, whether you are the bride yourself or just a wedding guest. The second one is a completely different look and I explored a cooler color palette for this Reception look. The focus of the look is the eye makeup, wherein I used a sparkly pigment to create an evening eye that is bold and striking! Hope you enjoy both these videos.

DIY Indian Wedding Makeup Tutorial : Classic Red and Gold Makeup (VIDEO)

Hey everyone!

I recently collaborated with Nykaa.com for series of wedding videos and the first video in this series is a traditional indian wedding look! Since I did my own makeup for my wedding, I thought it would be fun to show you how to create the classic red-gold look. The best part – all the products are easily available on Nykaa and its a fairly simple look that you can easily recreate!

Thanks to Nykaa for arranging such gorgeous styling, I loved being decked up all royal for this shoot!

Wardrobe: Dolly J

Jewellery: Anmol Jewellers (Polki Choker Set with earrings, bangles and rings), Minerali Store (Mathapatti, Haathphool and bangles)

Orange Shimmer Bridal/Festive Makeup (Video)

Hey everyone!

You might recall my cherryculture.com haul where I picked out a few NYX products. One of them was this gorgeous orange pigment – shade Rust which I used here to create a very festive look featuring a metallic, shimmery orange eye. I paired this eye makeup with a peachy lip and glowy skin. This look will go perfectly with red, orange, yellow, peach and coral colored saris and outfits. I also like this look is great for brides (for one of the smaller functions like sangeet etc.) to pair with an outfit in the shades mentioned above!

Hey everyone!

The much-awaited Sultry, Dramatic Indian Bridal Makeup Tutorial video is now up! I’d shown you a preview a month back and never got the time to edit and upload this with the wedding and shifting in the between! Since the first 2 videos I did featured softer looks, I decided to a dramatic, full smokey eye/red lips look for the 3rd look.

Hope you like the tutorial, don’t forget to comment and subscribe!

My Wedding Makeup!

Hey everyone!

As promised, here are a couple of pics from my wedding reception. I’ve picked out the where my makeup is best seen though I will recreate this look soon to give you a closer look! Doing my own makeup turned out to be a bigger challenge than I had anticipated because there is so much going on around you on the wedding day, its easy to loose focus and mess up! In my case, there was so much packing etc. to do and because of fog/flights getting cancelled, our travel plans to Tokyo changed suddenly and we had to leave earlier – right after the reception in the night. So till 2 hours before the reception, I was doing my packing and weighing my baggage to check that everything was in limit allowed by the international flight! I had no time to wash my hair and just about an hour to do my makeup!

I had a rough idea of the look I wanted to do – similar to the one shown HERE but I decided to do something simpler last minute because I was running short of time and was feeling pretty tired as we had the ceremony in the day time. I did a golden bronze eye with lots of liner, kohl and false lashes, subtle peachy gold cheeks (little washed out in pics) and a matte red lip. I concentrated most on getting my base right. My hair was done by Dolly from Lakme Salon, Bhopal. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted but everyone said it looked good. To be honest, I made a mistake by not showing her a reference picture, I just described what I wanted which didn’t really come across properly going by the result. Here is a breakdown of the makeup ~
