Today I’m doing a makeup look and breakdown of a classic party look – shimmery black smokey eyes paired with soft stained lips. While on most occasions one would want to pair smokey eyes with nude lips,but a little bit of color on the lips goes well with the eyes  for special occasions!

Today I’m doing a tutorial of a grey,plum and green eye makeup look I tried few days back.

Summary of the look : 

Start by priming and concealing the area around the eye and apply a frosty grey eye shadow all over the lid. Build up a strong contour in the crease by applying a plum/berry eye shadow topped with a little matte black eye shadow. Apply kohl, line your eyes with black liner and apply a green eye shadow on the lower lash line. Highlight inner corner, brow bone and finish off with mascara.

While trying out a new mineral eye shadow ‘Summer Storm‘ from Mattify!Cosmetics, I came up with this super simple eye makeup look.

‘Summer Storm’ is a very frosty silvery grey shade with a blue-green undertone. The mineral powder eye shadow is very finely-milled and transforms to a high shine metallic grey on the lids. Since grey is a neutral shade, I decided to pair it with a vibrant berry lip color.

Summary of the look -

On a well moisturized face, conceal required areas , apply foundation and set with powder. For the eyes, apply frosty mid-tone grey eye shadow all over lid and on lower lash line, apply lots of kohl and finish off with mascara. Apply brownish pink blush on cheeks and pair with deep berry pink lip color.
