3 Everyday Makeup Looks : Rosy Glow, Polished Work Chic, Girl Next Door

Nobody has the time to spend hours poring over a laborious beauty routine when you have to rush out the door in 5 minutes. For busy girls, quick beauty looks are just what you need when you’re pressed for time. Personally, I like to keep things simple without fussing about with too many products for everyday wear. The trick is to use multi-tasking products that cut down time and effort! My mantra for a five minute beauty look is to conceal pigmentation and dullness, define the eyes and add a hint of healthy color to the cheeks and lips.

To help you all busy girls out there, I have a compiled a look book with 3 Quick Looks for Everyday wear.

Look #1 :  Rosy Glow –

This look adds a fresh, rosy glow to the face and is best for days when you’re feeling tired and dull. The rosy tones brighten the complexion and instantly fade away fatigue and dullness.

1. Start by moisturizing your entire face and then use a concealer under the eyes, around the nose and mouth and any other areas that you think need extra coverage. Blend out the formula with your fingers.

Time saving tip: When you’re pressed for time, skip foundation and just apply concealer in areas that need coverage.

2. Opt for a warm rose lipstick like the Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in Soft Rose on your pout. Then use your fingers to dot some of the formula on your cheeks and blend like a cream blush.

3. Apply pressed powder all over the face to set the blush and concealer.

4. Finally, line your eyes with your favorite kohl, curl your lashes and apply a coat of your favorite mascara! Done!

What look do you go for when you have only 5 minutes to do your makeup?

[note color=”#FFE4C4″]I always go for a deep lip with a simple eye when I am pressed for time. A statement lip is much quicker than a statement eye and its something I personally prefer too. I just use Mascara on the lashes, maybe black liner and go for a fuchsia/berry/red lip color. A few dabs of concealer on the under eye, a little bit of foundation/Tinted Moisturizer to cover up my blemishes and blush (if I have some time left!). This look always works for me!

Quick everyday warm toned makeup look : FOTD and makeup breakdown

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a simple FOTD and makeup breakdown of my lazy day makeup or quick everyday makeup! This look requires very few products and takes me about 5-7 minutes to do generally.

The key to this look is a subtle shimmery warm blush or bronzer that doubles up as eye shadow and gives an overall warmth to the face without much effort! The slight shimmer/frost gives a glow without having to use a highlighter separately.

I have used my favorite bronzer/multi tasking product for this look – Revlon Colorstay Mineral finishing powder ‘Sunkiss Radieux’.

This is the final look :
