MAC Old Gold Pigment is beautiful gold-olive green duochrome that flashes olive green or deep olive gold based on the lighting. The pigment is rich in color, finely milled and applies and blends with ease. You don’t need a second eye shadow with it, its looks gorgeous on its own! Today I’m doing a shimmery gold/green eye makeup look paired with warm blush and Avon Mango Mania lipstick. I recently purchased some Coastal Scents sample eye shadows along with a few other things and among them is the shade ‘Mojito Mint‘. Its a gorgeous cross between lime green and olive green and has very fine gold shimmer.

I love green eye makeup and my favorite combination partner with greens is coral. However, I decided to go a little more muted on the lips this time and used Avon Mango Mania lipstick- which is  a muted brick-coral-brown color. The result was a balanced look with enough color yet nothing too loud, can be worn in the day as well as night.

Today I’m doing the makeup breakdown of a look I recently posted in my favorite look of the week HERE. I love green eye makeup and I love doing smokey eyes- this look has the best of both!

Its a smokey eye with a blackened olive green -gold duochrome eye shadow from Coastal Scents that I picked up some time back. The look is very simple but looks interesting because of the complexity of this eye shadow. All I’ve done is smudged a black crayon kohl all over lid and lower lash line as base and applied this eye shadow generously all over the lid and softened at the crease. Lined the eyes with the same kohl, used a white-gold eyeshadow to highlight the inner corner, tear duct and browbone and  finished off with mascara. Hope you like the look

Today I’m doing a shimmery olive  green eye makeup look using VOV loose powder eye shadow.

I spotted this beauty at New Beauty Centre, Khar (Mumbai) retailing at Rs 75 and picked up 2 shades- an olive green and a copper shade.

Here’s the look I’ve done using the olive green shade.
