Hey everyone!

I received a few samples of the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains in the mail today and I couldn’t resist creating a quick look using the shade Smitten which is a gorgeous plummy fuchsia shade! I paired this bright lip with a soft plum eye and warm pink cheeks.

Ever since Pantone announced Emerald as the color of the year 2013, I’ve been meaning to do a look with emerald using my MAC Double feature eye shadow. This eye shadow duo is Limited Edition and has the most gorgeous emerald shade!

I’ve created a simple, wearable look with it using a wash of emerald on the lid, matte ochre in the crease, dewy healthy looking skin and a glossy neutral lip! Hope you like the look! Don’t forget to leave your comments below!

Celebrity Face of the Day : Deepika Padokone at Diwali Bash

 

Deepika Padukone looked gorgeous with a red lip at this year’s Diwali festivities. I love the richness of the dress (and the color!), the hair, the jewelry and the radiant makeup! Her skin looks flawless and glowing, not overly dewy, with just a hint of warm blush along the cheekbones. The eyes are soft with smudged winged black liner and soft definition on the waterline. The focus is on the matte red lip which reminds me of MAC Russian Red lipstick. Russian Red looks neutral/cool on many people but it leans warm on my skin tone. Illamasqua Maneater is another warm matte red lipstick which looks similar to what Deepika is wearing here.
