Hi everyone! I’ve been loving brighter pink lips lately, especially paired with neutral tan or peachy eyes so I thought I would do a tutorial for this look. In this video, I’ve used a bright pink lipstick from Lakme (love the matte lip tints!) to create a festive look. Hope you enjoy the video!
I’ve recently been hooked to intense gold eye shadow and pigments and MAC Melon is one of the prettiest I have seen! Its a peach-gold duochrome pigment with an intense reflective finish. In this tutorial, I have created a simple soft smokey look using MAC Melon pigment paired with neutral cheeks and lips. Melon pairs beautifully with Indian wear and if you’re looking for a festive shade, this works great!
I did a double take when I first saw the promo images of MAC’s Summer 2014 Collection doing the rounds, I had to share this here! Bright pink pigment on the eyes, yellow lip glass, candy bright lipsticks – that’s MAC Playland Collection!!
Today I’m reviewing the gorgeously unique MAC Blue-brown pigment. I recently wore this to the Lakme Fashion Week and I got quite a few compliments on my look that day I picked it up as part of a 5 pigment set (each containing 2.5 g) from the Tartan Tale collection. Price of the Limited Edition set : Rs 2300 for 5 pigments
For the swatch gallery today, I’m swatching the 9 pigment samples I showed you from my Make Up Geek haul recently. Only Chartreuse has not photographed well, the others have come out quite accurate. All jar photos are taken in direct sunlight so that the shimmer/pearl/duochrome is clearly visible. The swatches have all been taken in diffused indoor lighting.
My favorites from these are Tan, Melon, GoldenOlive,Teal and Grape! Do share your favorites in the comments section!
