Chambor Extreme Wear Liquid Transferproof Lipstick – Review
Price : Rs 845 for 6 ml
Chambor recently launched their new range of liquid matte lipsticks which had me very excited because its one of the few brands in India that has caught on with beauty trends in the International market. And true to their claim, these are long lasting, liquid matte lipsticks that pack a ton of pigment and wear all day long! They come in a sleek tube packaging and the flat, elongated applicator that is fairly easy to use. The texture and consistency is very creamy and feels a lot like the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. The color pay off is excellent and they give opaque, even color coverage to the lips. The lip color applies a little satiny fresh out of the tube but settles and dries down to a matte finish. While these are not 100% transfer proof (they do transfer a little to cups and glasses), they do last impressively long on the lips (6-8 hours). There is slight fading from the inner rims when you have anything oily or soupy but you can touch it up easily without the lipstick appearing cracked or patchy. These are scented and have a delicious minty chocolate scent which fades away right after application.
I’ve tested 2 shades – a nude mauve (402) and deep wine red (436) shade. These are fairly comfortable to wear and not excessively drying. I found shade #436 a looked a little better as compared to shade #402 on the lips. The lighter shade seemed to emphasise my lip lines a little, which a common problem with liquid matte lipsticks. These are not the easiest to remove so make sure you have some oil based removers handy for taking these off at the end of the day.
