Happy Saturday! Its been a while since I did a colorful eye makeup look and I decided to try out some Inglot matte shadows that I hadn’t touched in a while. I created a blue-green colorful look using all matte shadows, used a sapphire liner to complement the eye shadows and added a gold highlight in the inner corner. To complement the eyes, I used a soft pinky coral lip color.

Today I’m doing a look with a gorgeous emerald green eye shadow which I’d swatched recently in my Sunday swatch Gallery post. The shade is Bourjois Ombre A Paupieres Eyeshadow : 07 Noir Emeraude and it’s a blackened forest green with a bit of jewelled emerald touch. I have been loving greens lately and have decided to do at least 2 looks with every green I own.
I’ve paired a very simple green eye with a sheer red lip gloss. Red contrasts with green and even though its quite sheer, it brings out the lushness of the green.
This week on Celebrity Makeup Files, we have singer Hayley Williams whose colorful and unique style is quite an inspiration!
I have been experimenting with bright eye shadows recently and I absolutely love how she sports bright colors on the eyes with total ease. Whether it be her hair color, the vibrant citrus eye shadows or an intense red lip, she makes a style statement that is unconventional and gorgeous!
