Weight Loss Diaries Vol.24 : 3 week Progress

 

Hey everyone!

Its been exactly 3 weeks since my last Weight Loss dairies update. During my last update, I was struggling a little with motivation since progress had been nil. In this update I’m happy to share that there has been some progress and even though I’ve been slacking a little, the results are motivating me to get back on track full steam.

About 2 weeks back, we took a 2 day hiking trip to Mount Fuji (the highest peak in Japan) and that was really physically challenging for me and helped me shed some weight that wasn’t budging. There was lots of hiking and walking with restricted diet and that seemed to have helped my weight loss significantly. Since my last update, I have lost 3 kgs and 4.5 inches overall. I’m definitely feeling and looking a little bit slimmer and that is motivating me to be more regular with my workout and diet regime.

My diet regime has been a little erratic mostly due to lack of planning. I have not been restricting myself completely but somehow my body is still losing inches and weight. I just made sure to not completely let go of the entire diet plan if one meal goes wrong. But bad habits always catch up in time and I want to be more regular and clean with my diet in the coming week. A few hours dedicated to meal prep on Sunday always helps me set the tone for the coming week!

Hey everyone!

Hope you all are doing well. Last weekend, I revived my Weight Loss series with some new updates and progress. Unfortunately, the past week hasn’t been so good, there has been no progress and I’m feeling a little dejected as you would understand. But weight loss journey is filled with many such moments. You just have to power through these times when you feel like giving up and continue on with the journey.

Hey everyone!

Those who have been reading my blog for a long time would remember a series called the Weight Loss Diaries. I used to talk about my struggles with weight, what I was doing to lose weight and my progress. Somewhere down the line due to lack of results and motivation, this series as well my weight loss dreams were forgotten. Even though I was aware of my weight and how I looked every single day and in my mind, I knew what I should be doing – very little of it translated into what I was actually doing. The result was as you’d expect – nothing changed.

Its been about 4 months since my last update and I thought the time was right to revive my Weight Loss feature. Weight Loss Diaries Vol. 17 : The 7 Day Breakfast Challenge

 

Hey everyone!

Hope you all are doing great! I’ve been bored of the food I’ve been eating lately especially since I decided to stick to home cooked food, even when I want to cheat, I need a challenge to try out new recipes and break out of this monotony! Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I’ve been stuck on eating toasted brown bread/cereal for the longest time I can remember now – I’m going to do a 7 Day Breakfast Challenge. So for the next 7 Days, I plan to cook myself something new, something nice for breakfast. The aim to eat something different each day and if possible, something I haven’t tried before. Can think of no better way to start my day 🙂

 

At the end of the 7 days i.e next Saturday, I’ll be posting my 7 Breakfasts along with the links/recipes which I used to make them. I would love it if you guys can join me in this Challenge, it’ll be a lot of fun seeing what we come up with everyday!
