Maybelline has recently launched a new version of the Colossal Kajal – the SuperBlack Colossal and I’ve been testing this out since the past few days. Does the SuperBlack Colossal outperform the original? Read on to find out.
Amazon India is hosting the Great Indian Diwali Sale and I recently posted about my top 10 picks here. Since I had a lot of favorites to recommend from Lakme, I thought of doing a separate post for my top Lakme picks from the sale! Lakme is one brand that I’ve explored really well and these are the products that I’ve picked out for you –
The Eyeconic kajals are creamy, have excellent color pay off and stay really well on the eyes. The black variant is the classic but my favorite is the green one! Its amazing by itself as a liner or kajal and can be paired with a green eye shadow to create a stunning green smokey eye! It looks gorgeous on brown/black eyes and I highly recommend it!
Today I’m reviewing some pieces from the Studio Westmakeup collection. You might recall seeing some of these in my recent video tutorial here. The Studio West range is available across Westside stores in India and is an excellent option for good quality, reasonably priced makeup products.
Last week I was invited to an event by Westside and BBlunt where I got a chance to explore the all new Studio West beauty range. I knew they had some beauty products but I was quite amazed to see the wide range of lip colors, nail colors, eye makeup, bath and body care products! The products are quite reasonably priced with makeup products from Rs 295 onwards.
Makeup expert Pallavi Simmons who has helped create some of the Studio West makeup line took us through the different products offered by the brand and also created some of the signature looks on bloggers. The event took place at Westside, Infiniti Mall, Andheri and the unique retail space consisting of the Studio West, L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline and Lakme displays, BBlunt Kiosk and LYN Nail bar is quite unique to India and was fun to explore. Here are a few glimpses from the event –
Today I’m reviewing the FACES MagnetEyes Kajal, one the newest launches from the brand which is a soft, jet black kajal priced very affordably. There are several budget kajals in the market, the best of them being Maybelline Colossal and Lakme Eyeconic and I was really curious to see how this one fares against these two.
