I am a big, BIG fan of Rose scent and natural/ayurvedic brands in India have a very amazing range of Indian rose products. I’m not sure what it is about rose that makes me love it so much. Perhaps its memories of childhood with blooming roses in the garden, tended to so lovingly by the elders. Perhaps its the fact that my mum loves rose scents as much as me (if not more!) and the delicate fragrance always makes me feel feminine and elegant. There is something lovely about the Indian Rose or gulab that most Indian ladies love! Not to forget the fact that its been used for its therapeutic properties since ancient times.
In recent weeks, I’ve been compiling a list of some of the best rose scented products I’ve tried to help out fellow rose lovers! I have found loads of great products so I’ve split the this feature in 2 parts. In this post, I’ll be talking about the following products : Kama Ayurveda Rose & Jasmine Face Cleanser, Body Cleanser, Body Moisturiser, Forest Essentials Sugared Rose Petal Lip Balm, Forest Essentials Rose and Cardamom Body Mist andJaypore Rose and Patchouli Soap.
Today I am reviewing the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Green which you might recall from my Green Smoky Eyes Tutorial. Lakme Eyeconic is the only kajal I’ve repurchased and I was quite excited when they came out with colored variants some time last year. I’ve also used the Brown version but I think the Green one is much closer to the original black formula.
Inspired by all the nude and earth toned looks seen at Amazon India Fashion Week, I decided to do a Glowy Nude Makeup Tutorial today. The colors are understated but add warm and radiance to the face without noticeable color. I think this is a really versatile look that would work with any outfit and for any occasion. Hope you like the tutorial!
Today I am reviewing the NYX Stick Blushes which I recently mentioned in my March Beauty Favorites Video. These are twist up blushes in a convenient stick form that you can apply directly on the cheeks or use your fingertips. I have 2 shades under review today – Orchid (golden coral) and Tulip (cool rose).
I bought these online from cherryculture.com (but they don’t seem to be selling them anymore).
