Makeup Look : Bright Magenta Lip (Quick Look)

Hi everyone! Now that I’m back to work after a week of break, I’m slowly easing myself into wearing more makeup. I wore very little makeup when I was visiting my parents so jumping into elaborate looks seems too time consuming! I’ve been doing quick, easy looks the past few days. The easiest look to do when you want something quick yet striking it a bright lip. You can pair this with just kajal, thin liner or a winged liner. I personally love a winged liner as it lifts my eyes and always looks elegant.

This is the look I created today using the Lakme Absolute Matte Lip Tint in Magenta Magic as the focus of the look. Read on for the full list of products used.

Nykaa HAUL + 24H Vinyl Luxe Eyeliner Review

Hi everyone! In my recent giveaways, many of you shared feedback for improving the content. One of the things I was asked to do more of was hauls and edgier makeup looks. Nykaa had an amazing sale earlier this month and I bought lots of new makeup items. I’ve talked about all the products I purchased along with swatches in my haul video below.

Nykaa has launched 3 new eye liners and I’ve reviewed their 24h Vinyl Luxe liner on my channel as well. Its a black matte liquid liner, with a firm felt tip, and a long-stay water-resistant formula. I’ve also experimented a little and shown you 3 different looks you can create using this liner. Hope you enjoy these videos!

Natural, Fresh Makeup | Beginners Tutorial

Hi everyone! I took some time off last week to visit my parents and I packed a very small makeup bag for my visit. I pretty much wore the same look everyday; natural luminous base, defined eyes & brows (most days without eye shadow, just liner and mascara), a hint of pink blush and a natural pink lip. The look I wore was very similar to a natural, fresh look I posted recently on my YouTube channel. Check out the tutorial below!

Fun Saturdays Vol.91 : 5 Random Things

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit here. I went to visit my parents after a long time and even though I had plans of posting from my hometown, I ended up barely working at all! Many of you mentioned that you miss my Fun Saturdays post so I’m reviving this series after a long gap! Hopefully from here on we can make this a regular weekly feature!

Fun Saturdays 91

1. How was your week?

I spent the week with my parents in my hometown (Bhopal). I was visiting after a long time so it was really nice. I also spent time with my grandparents and cousins who I hadn’t met in a while. Bhopal was so much colder than Mumbai is in the winters but it was a good trip overall.

2. Do you have any beauty resolutions for 2017?

Yes! In skincare, I want to use more of natural brands and be more aware of the ingredients I’m using in my products. In makeup, I want to experiment more with color and edgier makeup looks! I’d also like to incorporate more drugstore makeup in my tutorial so that my looks are more accessible and easy to recreate.

Maybelline the Rock Nudes Palette | Tutorial

Hi everyone! Maybelline has just launched a new eye shadow palette, the Rock Nudes palette. This is a predominantly cool-toned palette with a few glitter shades, balanced out with satin-y colors. Even though the quality isn’t the best, you can do a few different looks with this palette. The pigmentation is average and the colors are not too intense, which makes it a little easier to use for beginners. The glitter shades were a bit dry and chalky but most of the satin and pearl finish colors were smooth in texture. I didn’t love this palette to be honest but it is priced quite affordably at Rs 899 and is available online as well as across Maybelline counters.

I’ve done a glamorous smokey eye look using this palette. Check out the video below!
