Sorry for the bit of delay in the videos this past week. We had some holidays here in Japan (Golden Week) and I couldn’t film new videos (and the footage from last week didn’t turn out very well). So my April Beauty Favorites video is a little late but better late then never, right? Hope you enjoy the video. Don’t forget to let me know your April favorites in the comments section!

I’ve been playing around more with my Makeup Geek eye shadows lately and I created this look using the Foiled eye shadow in Flame Thrower as the center piece. I paired this smoky copper eye with a brick toned lip using Colorbar Soft Touch lipstick in Matina. And to add a little warmth to the cheeks, I used MAC Melba – a dusty peach that works beautifully with warm toned looks!
Hope you enjoy the tutorial! I recommend you try out this look for a summer wedding or evening party 🙂
Today I am sharing a look that is classic and universally flattering – a matte red lip paired with a winged liner. Wear it with a little black dress, an anarkali or to dress up a casual shirt and jeans – this look just looks great with everything and on everyone! In this look, I’ve used a gel liner to create the winged eye liner and paired it with a deep rich red lipstick from the L’oreal Pure Reds collection. To tie the two together, I’ve used a soft earth toned blush from Colorbar.
In my latest video, I have created a vibrant spring/summer look featuring a pop of violet on the eyes balanced out with a pastel pink lip. I loves plums and purples on the eyes and when I got my hands on Makeup Geek Foiled eye shadow Caitlin Rose – a shimmering amethyst color, I knew I had to do a look with it. The eye shadow is gorgeous by itself and hence I’ve kept the look simple without fussing about with too many products.
A soft pink lip color like the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Elusive goes perfectly with a bright eye shadow like this. I really like how this look turned out! It would go perfectly with pink, lavender, taupe and plum outfits.

Coral is one of my favorite colors and I love to bring out the warm colors in spring and summer! The color is super flattering on Indian complexions too making it really effortless to carry! In my latest summer makeup tutorial, I used a combination of coral and rose gold to create a versatile, fresh faced look that you wear for many occasions! I really like how this look turned out, hope you enjoy the tutorial!
