In my latest video, I have created a vibrant spring/summer look featuring a pop of violet on the eyes balanced out with a pastel pink lip. I loves plums and purples on the eyes and when I got my hands on Makeup Geek Foiled eye shadow Caitlin Rose – a shimmering amethyst color, I knew I had to do a look with it. The eye shadow is gorgeous by itself and hence I’ve kept the look simple without fussing about with too many products.
A soft pink lip color like the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Elusive goes perfectly with a bright eye shadow like this. I really like how this look turned out! It would go perfectly with pink, lavender, taupe and plum outfits.

Coral is one of my favorite colors and I love to bring out the warm colors in spring and summer! The color is super flattering on Indian complexions too making it really effortless to carry! In my latest summer makeup tutorial, I used a combination of coral and rose gold to create a versatile, fresh faced look that you wear for many occasions! I really like how this look turned out, hope you enjoy the tutorial!

Today I’m doing a tutorial requested by several of you recently – makeup for hooded eyes/monolids. Hooded Eyes and Monolids don’t have a visible lid area when the eye is open. Basically the fold of the eye covers up the lid in case of hooded eyes and in case of monolid, the crease isn’t there to break up the lid into 2 areas – hence the term mono lid. So in this tutorial, I have kept the lid work simple and talked about how to create a faux crease so that the shadow is visible and used colored liners to emphasize the eyes. A touch of turquoise on the eyes looks beautiful in the summer!
Since the lash lines are always visible, you can play up those areas by using bright colors along the lash lines instead of on the lid where it won’t be visible unless you close your eyes. Hope you find this useful! I don’t have hooded eyes or mono lids so it was a little hard to demonstrate but since many of you requested this tutorial, I wanted to do it!

On popular demand, I’ve created an easy blue smoky eye look which I paired with a nude lip and earthy cheeks! Blue is a very flattering color for brown eyes and quite in trend as well. I used only a single blue eye shadow for this look – from the Sleek Bad Girleye shadow palette. You can recreate this with any royal blue or navy eye shadow. Some options are – Inglot eye shadow 428P, MAC Deep Truth, Makeup Geek Nautica and L’Oreal Paris Infallible All Night Blue.
You can pair this eye makeup with your favorite nude lipstick. I’ve gone with a new shade today – Revlon SuperLustrous Lipstick in SandalwoodBeige which is a lovely creamy peachy nude color – great for light to medium complexions. Hope you enjoy the tutorial!

I’ve been wanting to do a sparkly eye tutorial using Makeup Geek pigment in Utopia ever since I picked it some time back. To give it a summer spin, I paired the eye makeup with a bright electric pink lip and pink cheeks. I think this is the perfect summer party look and can easily be worn with ethnic wear as well. Hope you enjoy the tutorial!
