Hi everyone! Chambor has recently introduced the Gel Effect Nail Lacquers in over 50 shades. Today I’ll be reviewing two of the shades from the range, a nude shade (301) and a metallic champagne color (652). These are priced at Rs 325 each and are supposed to give a high-shine, plumped finish of a gel manicure.
Hi everyone! Now that we’ve said goodbye to the winters, I’m bringing back fresh spring florals into my bath and body routine. L’Occitane recently launched their Rose Originelle collection which consists of a shower gel, a body lotion, a hand cream and an EDT. Today I will be reviewing a few of the products from this lovely floral collection. I love rose scents in my beauty products and L’Occitane always does fragrances very well so I was looking forward to trying this out.
L’Occitane Rose Originelle Shower Gel (Rs 1510, 250 ml)
The shower gel comes in a beautiful packaging. The bottle, with its golden cap and honey colored shower gel, looks decadent and charming. The gel itself has a slightly runny consistency, lathers well without foaming too much and doesn’t strip the skin dry. I love the rose scent which is delicately balanced with a soft fruity note, making this a feminine and refreshing shower wash. The scent is not overpowering and doesn’t linger much after rinsing. If you like roses or florals in general, you would definitely like this!
This range contains extracts from three varieties of roses –
Rose absolute from Turkey
Rose from Grasse (Rosa Centifolia Extract)
Rose centifolia absolute from Grasse
Its also free from the following – BHA, BHT, formol or formaldehyde, parabens, phenoxyethanol, phtalates, silicone & triclosan.
Hi everyone! Today I’m reviewing two new launches from Deborah Milano this spring – the Gel Effect Nail Polish in shade no.70 and the 24Ore Color Mat Eyeliner in shade Lavender.
Deborah Milano Gel Effect Nail Polish – 70 (Rs 395)
The nail polish comes in a rectangular bottle and has a pretty good formula – smooth in consistency, near opaque in single coat, beautiful glossy finish. It doesn’t take long to dry and once dry, it stays fresh and glossy for about 4-5 days. It begins to show tip wear after that. No.70 is a beautiful fresh yellow-green, very pretty for spring and not too neon. I really like this range and would definitely want to try more shades.
Deborah Milano 24Ore Color Mat Eyeliner – Lavender (Rs 625)
This is a felt tip eye liner with a matte finish. The tip is fine enough for precise liner work and the color is very unusual, I love it! The best way to wear very bright and pastel kind of shades on the eyes it to pair it with a thin black liner in the area closest to the lash line. This shade looks quite striking on the Indian skin and it definitely gives a very fresh feel. The formula stays well but its not waterproof. I don’t mind that its not waterproof but what I don’t love about this is the color pay off. The pen feels slightly on the dry side and you need to do several passes to get a strong color on the eyes. That’s the only drawback!
Deborah Milano is available at Shoppers Stop and online at Nykaa.com.
Hi everyone! Today I’m reviewing the new Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil which has just launched in India. This is priced at Rs 1900, and is available in 3 variants – Honey, Raspberry and Red Berry. I’ll be reviewing the Raspberry variant today, which I’ve been using for the past 4-5 weeks.
