Hi everyone! Nykaa.com has launched their range of matte lipsticks and I am super excited to share this review with you! These lipsticks have are creamy matte texture, really good color pay off and staining long wear. The range contains 12 shades and these are priced very affordably at Rs 399.
The clean and simple black matte packaging has a magnetic closure and the square tube reminds me somewhat of Burberry lipsticks. The formula feels very luxurious, is comfortable on the lips even after 4-5 hours of wear and the faint vanilla scent makes it quite nice to use. Check out the video for lip swatches!

Hi everyone! Canadian brand CoverFX launched at Sephora India last month and today I’ve reviewed their star product, the Custom Cover Drops(Rs 3900, 15 ml) on my YouTube channel. This product allows you to convert your favorite moisturizer, primer or oil to a coverage product and you can tailor the coverage from sheer to full by varying the amount you use. 1-2 drops give you a light, even cover while 3-4 drops give you fuller coverage. Its available in 24 shades at Sephora in India and if you have trouble finding the perfect foundation shade in other brands, do check this out.
The golden undertone Gxx range has the perfect warm yellow undertones for Indian complexions and you are bound to find the perfect match!

Hi everyone! Nykaa has recently launched their Matte nail polish range (Rs 199 each) consisting of 12 shades, most of which are a soft pastels. I’m sharing swatches of 9 of these shades in this post along with a quick review of the formula. I’ve recently tested the Revlon Matte Nail Enamels as well and in comparison, I find the Nykaa mattes a little more durable with better staying power. The consistency of most of the Nykaa shades is on the thicker side (with some exceptions) and most shades applied opaque in two coats. I had some trouble with the white (07 White Chocolate Ganache) and pale blue (18 Blueberry Macaron), which applied a little bit uneven, but the inconsistency was visible only close up. They did not take long to dry though with the thick formula, they aren’t the quickest drying nail paints either.
