5 Product Makeup Challenge!

Hey everyone!

For Day 23 of the September Daily Look Challenge, I decided to do a slightly different look – a challenge using only 5 makeup products! I chose the following products to do a complete look – Concealer, Powder, Matte Brown eye shadow (used as eye shadow, cheek contour and brow filler), Mascara and Lipstick (which doubled up as a cream blush). I did however cheat a tiny bit by using not one but 2 eye shadows (though they are both from the same palette 😛 ).

If you had to do a 5 Product Challenge, what products will you use? Let me know in the comments!

3 Everyday Makeup Looks : Rosy Glow, Polished Work Chic, Girl Next Door

Nobody has the time to spend hours poring over a laborious beauty routine when you have to rush out the door in 5 minutes. For busy girls, quick beauty looks are just what you need when you’re pressed for time. Personally, I like to keep things simple without fussing about with too many products for everyday wear. The trick is to use multi-tasking products that cut down time and effort! My mantra for a five minute beauty look is to conceal pigmentation and dullness, define the eyes and add a hint of healthy color to the cheeks and lips.

To help you all busy girls out there, I have a compiled a look book with 3 Quick Looks for Everyday wear.

Look #1 :  Rosy Glow –

This look adds a fresh, rosy glow to the face and is best for days when you’re feeling tired and dull. The rosy tones brighten the complexion and instantly fade away fatigue and dullness.

1. Start by moisturizing your entire face and then use a concealer under the eyes, around the nose and mouth and any other areas that you think need extra coverage. Blend out the formula with your fingers.

Time saving tip: When you’re pressed for time, skip foundation and just apply concealer in areas that need coverage.

2. Opt for a warm rose lipstick like the Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in Soft Rose on your pout. Then use your fingers to dot some of the formula on your cheeks and blend like a cream blush.

3. Apply pressed powder all over the face to set the blush and concealer.

4. Finally, line your eyes with your favorite kohl, curl your lashes and apply a coat of your favorite mascara! Done!

Makeup Look : Touch of Gold

Hey everyone!

For Day 22 of the September Daily Look Challenge, I’ve done a nude makeup look with a touch of Gold on the eyes. I used a sparkly gold eye shadow on the lid with a bright gold liquid liner to keep the gold eyes the focus of the look. To complement the eyes, I used a peach blush and paired it with a nude peach lip. Even though the eyes are quite metallic, the look still feels soft because of no liner or kajal in this look. I’m not sure if this suits me or not but I had fun doing it!

Soft, Romantic Makeup Look

Hey everyone!

For Day 20 of the Daily Look Challenge, I’ve done a soft, dreamy romantic look using natural rosy colors. For the eyes, I used some of my favorite MAC eye shadows to create a bright eyed yet defined look. For the cheeks, I used NARS Amour – a fantastic pink blush for Indian complexions and for the lips, I used a Chanel lipstick in the shade Romantic which fits in with this look perfectly!
