Hi everyone! Today I’m reviewing the Paco Rabanne Lady Million Privé fragrance that was launched in 2016, following the success of the original Paco Rabanne Lady Million. The richness and opulence of this fragrance is captured beautifully in the rich amber color of the perfume and the diamond-like multi-faceted design of the bottle. The play of warm shades reflects the sweet honey/cacao notes of the scent.
This is a warm woody scent with opening fruity notes of orange blossom and raspberry. The fresh fruity notes quickly give way to a warmer, creamier feel of powdery florals, heady vanilla and sweet honey. On the sillage and intensity scale, I’d say its a medium, leaning more towards intense rather than soft. I generally don’t like sweet perfumes but the softness of the powdery florals, the bitterness of the cacao and the earthiness of the patchouli balance things out. This isn’t a juvenile syrupy honey-vanilla-chocolate scent, its grown-up and womanly, without being too floral like the many oriental florals in the market.
Since its quite rich and warm, I like wearing this for evenings when I want something decidedly woody. The staying power is fairly good, it stays for over 6 hours on my skin. Overall, a very nice lady-like warm woody scent, perfect for evenings and the cooler months.
Lady Million Privé is now available for Rs 6800/80 ml across Parcos stores.
