Hi everyone! If you’re on social media, chances are you’ve heard all about the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. This 14-color palette of warm neutrals became an instant hit the moment it launched. I finally got my hands on it through beautdor.com, a website that sells authentic imported beauty brands in India. I’ve been trying out the palette and I can’t remember the last time I was so impressed by an eye shadow palette! The packaging is very sturdy and elegant, the top lid has a velvet mauve cover and the eye shadows are housed in square pans inside. Each color has the name written under it and the palette comes with a dual sided eye shadow brush.

These are perhaps the softest, most pigmented eye shadows I’ve tried! There might be a little fall out if you’re heavy handed with the application as the powders are very soft. They blend beautifully and stay extremely well too (8 hours easy), no primer needed! The color selection is gorgeous with some safer warm browns and plenty of bolder berry and red tones to create stunning looks. For Indian skin tones, I think palette would be a natural fit! Overall, I think this is fantastic buy and even though its expensive, its worth every penny! The only con is the availability, you need to get this through an authentic reseller in India as the brand doesn’t officially retail in India. Rating : 4.5/5

You can check out the tutorial for the look I’m wearing in this post.
