Maybelline Color Sensational 3D Eyeshadow : Topaz Gold, Rose Quartz Pink – Swatches

Hi everyone!

Maybelline India has recently launched the 3D Eyes Eye shadow quints and I have a quick swatch and first impressions post for you. I got the shades Topaz Gold, a mix of 5 beautiful warm colors and Rose Quartz Pink, mix of 5 cool-toned rosy hues. The packaging and style of these reminds me of Japanese drugstore eye shadows. These are priced at Rs 575 each though you can get them at a discounted price online at Nykaa.com.

These are smooth but a bit firm in terms of texture. The colors are not too heavily pigmented which makes them really easy to wear. The color selections are quite nice with a highlight shade, 2 medium tones, a darker color and a shimmery shade which they call the “top coat”. I quite like these at first glance and I’m wearing a few shades from Topaz Gold on my eyes today. Will do a review/look post once I’ve tested these out for wear time.

  1. This is a very timely review Ankita. I wanted to get this, but would give it a pass because these days, I am not happy unless the shadows are very pigmented.

  2. Looks good ! Have been wanting a black eye shadow since a while – but these look like a good option with black included !

  3. I have seen this “top coat” shade concept in Canmake quints. Both of these palettes look so wearable and perfect for Indian skintones.
