Colorbar All-Day Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick – Review
Price : Rs 850 for 1.4 g | Available in 7 shades.
The Colorbar eye shadow crayons come in a retractable crayon packaging with an attachment for sharpening the tip at the bottom end. The bottom end is coloured so you can easily identify the shades if you store these upside down vertically. The shadow sticks have a conical tip which I prefer to rounded tips in eye shadow crayons. The texture of these crayons is fairly smooth and while they do not tug on the eyes and glide without difficulty, a slightly creamier texture would have been more comfortable to use. The color pay-off is good but to get the full color intensity, you need to layer the crayon a little.
These set very quickly into a smudge-proof, waterproof finish so if you want to blend or smoke them out, you need to work quickly. The wear time is good and the shadow did not crease for 6 hours on my oily lids. After the 6 hour mark, they begin to crease and fade a little bit. I think these are great to be used by themselves or under powder eye shadow (to prolong the wear of the powder shadows). I would have liked a creamier crayon with slightly better color pay off (the Stila eye shadow crayon in fantastic on both those fronts) to make this a great product, not just a good one. But I still like the product very much as it combines the ease of quick application with an easily portable product, without having to sharpen the crayon.

Ornament is a bronzy beige with shimmer. The color looks great on my medium complexion and I would recommend this for everyday wear.
Fairy is a pale peachy-beige with a pearl finish. This is great for highlighting or for a pale wash of color on the lid. I’ve used this as a cheek highlighter too in my video here.
