Easy Morning to Evening Hairstyles (Step-by-Step)

Hey everyone!

Today I’m going to show you some quick and easy hairstyles that take you from a Sleek Day Look to a Classy Evening Look. I’ve partnered with BBLUNT to create these looks and I have to say, I’ve been loving everything I’ve tried out so far from the brand! These products by BBLUNT are especially created for Indian hair & weather and are available across the country and online.

I started my day with using the BBLUNT Perfect Balance Shampoo and Conditioner (for Normal to Dry Hair) in the morning and by the time I finished my makeup, my hair had dried almost completely. The shampoo-conditioner duo left my hair feeling soft, shiny and frizz-free as you can tell from the picture.

I then used the BBLUNT Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream from mid-lengths to the ends of my hair by massaging it well into the towel dried hair. This leave-in cream works for all types of hair and and can be used daily. You need just a coined sized amount and it gives a frizz-free and neat look that stays all day long. Because it smoothens the hair, it makes ironing much easier as well! Next, I straightened my hair to give it a sleek look. This simple sleek look requires minimal effort and can be easily done in the the morning before you get ready for work. You can always tie your hair in a pony or bun if you like.

Now to take the look further, I added a little twist, literally, to my ironed hair. As I had already rubbed BBLUNT Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream after my shower, it gave me control over my hair’s movement. I took a small section on either side of my parting and twisted it using my fingers. I then secured the ends of the twisted section behind using bobby pins. And my Sleek Day Time look is done!

This look barely takes 5 minutes and super easy to maintain. The twists keep the hair away from your face while you are working, and the half-down adds a elegant touch to the overall look.

Now if you have plans in the evening to catch up with friends or family, you might want to change up your look a little. But after a long day at work, and all you ladies will relate, there is simply not enough time & energy left to invest in restyling your office hair all over again. The look I’m showing you next is quite simple and since BBLUNT products are designed to bring their salon-treatment to home, styling your hair becomes easier and fuss-free.

To transition to the evening look, I unpinned and opened up the twisted sections of the hair from the Day look. I then used the BBLUNT Blown Away Volumizing Leave-In Spray to add some lasting volume and bounce to my straight hair, mostly concentrating near the roots.

Disclaimer: BBLUNT Blown Away Volumizing Leave-In Spray is best used on damp hair.

Next I used the BBLUNT Back To Life Dry Shampoo (for Instant Freshness) by holding it 6 inches away from my hair and spraying evenly. Then I waited for two minutes and then ruffled up my hair. This product soaks up all the grime & grease collected on the roots of your hair during the day and refreshes it instantly while adding a little texture. This is a unique product and the price offering is great, it’s a must have for every woman. I then swept my hair to one side and proceeded to create a simple side braid.

You could leave the look at that but I thought of creating a bun with the braid in the previous step. But before that, I use my straightener to add a little wave to my front locks and then pinned it as shown. For the bun, I simply twisted the braid into itself and used hair pins to secure the bun into place.

And that is how you can take a Sleek Day look to a Classy Evening Bun in a few easy steps!

I’ve never been one for experimenting with hairstyles much but with the right products, creating different looks becomes a lot easier. I hope you enjoyed this blog post!  Let me know if you’ve tried hair-styling experts BBLUNT products in the comments section below!

  5. Ankita can u plz tell how does the dry shampoo smell?? Actually i ve L'Oréal dry shampoo..but i dnt use it often coz of its strong smell.

  6. I tried the BBlunt One Night Stand Temporary Hair Color and it totally dried out my hair. So I’ve been afraid of trying out the Dry Shampoo. Maybe the leave-in cream protected your hair from too much dryness…
