Illamasqua Naked Rose Powder Blusher : Swatch, Review

Hey everyone!

Today I’m reviewing Illamasqua Naked Rose Powder Blusher which is a beautiful soft rose blush that I’ve been reaching out for a lot lately. Everyone should have a staple, all-occasion pink like this in their collection as it adds the perfect natural pink flush to the cheeks and works with a ton of lipsticks.

Price : approx. Rs 2400

Available online at Illamasqua.com.

Illamasqua Naked Rose Powder Blusher Review

Illamasqua Powder blushes have a phenomenal formula – they are silky soft, beautifully pigmented without being overly so and blend like a dream. The staying power is pretty great too and I get about 8 hours easily over foundation with this blush. Since its a matte formula, it looks really natural and is perfect for day wear. Naked Rose is just as the name suggests – a beautiful nude rose color. It looks very soft and natural on my medium complexion and adds the perfect tint of pink to the cheeks. It works with all pink lipsticks and with deeper colors like reds, berries and plums as well. The powder is very finely milled and pressed just right so the brush doesn’t kick up too much product when you apply it. I also like the signature shape of Illamasqua compacts though I do wish they had a mirror, if not an applicator. But that’s not a big issue. I guess the only real drawback is the price and availability. Its not cheap and along with the shipping charges to India, it comes out a bit heavy on the pocket!
