Today I’m sharing a makeup look that I’ve been wearing quite often these days. Its a fresh pink look that brightens up my face and stays up quite well in the heat. I use a brown or black eye pencil with mascara for the eyes. Curling the lashes opens up the eyes and its something I rarely skip! For the face, I use concealer under the eyes, around the mouth and nose area, in areas of blemishes and set everything with a loose powder that gives light coverage and keeps my skin clean and matte. I completely skip foundation most days I’m headed out because I like my skin to have minimal products as most bases don’t hold up very well in the heat. To finish off the look, I use a warm pink blush paired with a soft berry lipstick! All the products I use are listed further in this post.

Products used for this look :
1. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer : Ginger + Coastal Scents Bright Eyed : Medium
NARS Ginger is slightly light for me so I mix it with the Coastal Scents concealer and the mix of the two works perfectly for all over the face. I have quite a few marks from blemishes around the chin and jawline and the concealer evens out my skin.
2. Clinique Blended Face Powder 03 (Review)
I love this powder! Its silky, light weight, gives sheer coverage and keeps my concealer in place. My face stays clean, matte and fresh looking for a good while with this powder. It doesn’t cake up or give a dry look to the skin.
3. Maybelline Cheeky glow Blush : Peachy Sweetie
This is the perfect peachy pink blush for everyday wear. The color isn’t too heavy, can be built up and adds the perfect healthy pink color to the cheeks.
4. Rimmel ScandalEyes Eye Liner : Brown
This is a great creamy brown eye pencil that is smudge proof and water proof. It glides easily on the eyes, dries down quickly, doesn’t budge and stays really well. It defines the eyes really well.
5. Eye Lash Curler (Japanese) + Chambor Infinite Lengths Mascara (Review)
I’m using a random curler I’d picked up from the Japanese drug store (no idea about the brand) and it works really well! I have long lashes but they are slightly droopy (as are my eyes) and curling lashes really opens up and lifts my eyes. The Chambor mascara adds a nice length and definition and looks subtle enough for daily wear.
6. Rimmel Eye Brow Pencil : Black/Brown
I use this to fill in the gaps in my brows and comb them into place. Its a great brow pencil, works perfectly for my dark hair and is really affordable too.
7. Essence Long Last Lipstick : On the Catwalk
I’m loving this beautiful berry lipstick these days! The color is not too bright, adds a nice glow to the face and the formula is really comfortable. The color and moisturizing formula reminds me of my favorite YSL Rose in Tension Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick though this is a fraction of the price!
