Today I’m sharing a polished, nude nail polish with you from the brand LYN. You might recall 2 gorgeous bright colors I’ve talked about previously – You Red My Thoughts and Teal Me More.
LYN (Live Your Now) is a new range of high definition nail polishes that launched in India recently. These nail polishes are available in 100 beautiful colors with a variety of textures and finishes. Sand By Me is a taupy nude shade that looks very polished and chic on the hands. The shade has some very faint gold shimmer that adds a nice warm dimension to the color. This would be a fabulous shade for ladies who prefer a subtle color on their nails. The quality of this particular shade is consistent with the shades I’ve tried so far – creamy smooth formula that applies very evenly, gives opaque color in 2 coats and stays fairly well. Hope you’re having a great weekend! I went out for a little shopping today. Picked up the new NARS Luminous Weightless Foundation (found my perfect shade match in the shade Barcelona), NARS Dual Intensity Blush, the new Clinique Lip Pop lipstick and a pore minimizing base from Shu Uemura. I’m really excited to try everything out! Also picked up a couple of T-shirts and a light jacket from Uniqlo. What are you up to this weekend?

I generally use brighter shades for my nails but this one is a winner because of its subtlety. I bought the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in Cannes and Zurich this weekend! 😀

I have dry skin but I sweat a lot when I go outside. I will be attending my friend's wedding. I cannot invest in a primer right now. I want to apply either lakme cc cream or garnier bb cream. Can you please suggest me some ways so that no sweating would be there and my makeup would last long?
Maybe use a mattifying sunscreen underneath. I've heard Lacto Calamine also works as a primer and it has the clay – calamine base that helps control oil and sweat. Its quite inexpensive so you could try it. Also make sure to set the base with a powder. You could try the Lakme Loose powder, its quite affordable and would work than a pressed powder.
Nice shade for everyday wear…even I did some shopping this week…a nice saree and a couple of stoles with ethnic motifs !!

This weekend is/was rather dull, it’s just cloudy outside. went out in the morning and picked up a charm finger ring 😀

I don't use anything for the hands specifically. Just apply my face moisturizer on the cuticles too while doing my facial skincare.

the shade sand by me is really very soft & subtle for summers..
