I recently bought some skincare items from the BeautyBay.com Spring sale and the Japanese Drugstore. Here’s a quick look at my skincare haul this month ~
Shiseido Perfect Cleansing Oil : JPY 655/$ 5.47/Rs 341
I recently finished up my MAC Cleanse Off oil and decided to check out some Japanese drugstore options. I’ve tried the much raved about DHC Cleansing Oil last year and while it was nice, I wanted to try out something else and this Shiseido Cleansing Oil caught my eye. Its easily available in drugstores around Japan for around 900 JPY but I got it at a discount from Amazon Japan. Tried it out last night and seems to clean quite well! Like the price point too!
Cure Natural Aqua Gel : JPY 2700/$ 22.55/Rs 1400
This is a water based peeling gel and is supposed to be one of the best selling skin care products in Japan (1 piece sold every 12 seconds apparently!). I’ve never tried something like this before and its not exactly cheap but I hear about this literally everywhere so I had to try it out!
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads : £21.95/Rs 2000
I’ve been wanting to try chemical exfoliants for a while now and this one comes recommended from Caroline Hirons (do follow her for great skincare advice)! These weren’t super expensive so I picked these from BeautyBay.com during the spring sale. I’m very excited to try these out!
Embryolisse Nourishing Moisturizer : £9.83/Rs 896
This is the best moisturizer I’ve tried! It is very hydrating and the only moisturizer that keeps my skin hydrated all through the day. But what I love most about it is that how wonderful it is under foundation, it just makes my skin look flawless all day and gives the most clean and healthy finish to foundation! I had tried a sample of this in Glossybox and I bought this (2 x 30 ml tubes) from BeautyBay.com which had 20% off on Embryolisse and additional spring sale discounts.
