Today I’m reviewing the Sleek Vintage Romance eye shadow palette – a 12 eye shadow palette consisting of neutrals and purple-plum colors. This is a gorgeous palette and I reach out for this quite often!
Price : $11.99 , Available online at sleekmakeup.com.
My take on the Product
The palette contains 2 rows of eye shadows housed in a sturdy plastic palette with a large mirror. The packaging comes with a dual ended sponge tip applicator. The palette contains a mix of neutrals and purple/plum/blue shades. I love the color selection – all colors are flattering on my complexion and there is a beautiful harmony of colors in the palette. The overall quality of the palette is pretty good with most of the shades being buttery smooth and richly pigmented except a few which were slightly dry with a chalkier texture and moderate pigmentation. The rest were a dream to work with – great texture, very easy to blend with minimal fall out. The eye shadows wore quite well with minimal creasing or fading for about 6 hours on my oily lids (without primer). The wear is good but not great so I recommend using a primer to get better wear out of these.
I love the palette overall, the colors are fantastic and the quality is great for most of the palette! Sleek palettes are great value for money and this one doesn’t disappoint either! Recommended!

Top Row Shades ~
Pretty in Paris is bright, frosted silver. Had a smooth texture and great color pay off.
Meet in Madrid is a light, metallic gold. Smooth texture, good pigmentation.
Court in Cannes is a medium golden brown. Soft, smooth texture, excellent color pay off.
Lust in LA is an olive tinged brown with a frosted finish. Like the previous 3 shades, this one was smooth and pigmented as well.
Romance in Rome is a purple tinged blue. This one was dry, not well pigmented and the worst formula in this palette.
Propose in Prague is a matte orange toned brown. Love the color – works extremely well with the other colors in the palette. Color pay off was decent though texture was slightly drier than the frosty shades.

Bottom Row Shades :
A Vow in Venice is plum tinged berry shade with soft frost finish. Extremely smooth and pigmented.
Marry in Monte Carlo is a pinkish berry shade with a high shine frost finish. Very smooth and intense color!
Honeymoon in Hollywood is a deep plum/wine color with reddish undertones. Love this color! The formula is slightly dry but not chalky and has good color pay off. Mostly matte with a little dispersed flecks of shimmer.
Bliss in Barcelona is a jewel toned royal purple. Color is lovely though texture isn’t as silky smooth as the other frost colors.
Forever in Florence is a dark matte burgundy with flecks of silver shimmer. Great color pay off, fairly smooth but once again not as buttery as the frosts.
Love in London is a satiny black. The texture was smooth and the color fairly intense. There were few flecks of silver shimmer in the pan but they barely show on the skin.
BOTTOM ROW Swatches :
Look 1 : Meet in Madrid on lid, Propose in Prague in crease, Vow in Venice along lower lash line.
Look 2 : A Vow in Venice on inner 2/3rd of lid, Honeymoon in Hollywood in outer corner + lower lash line, Propose in Prague in crease. Meet in Madrid to highlight.
