My Khoobsurat Moment : Anniversary Dinner

A few weeks back, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner date at our favorite Indian restaurant in Tokyo. We had just returned from a 2 day mountain climbing tour from Mount Fuji and needless to say, we were quite exhausted from our trip! I chose a simple black and white dress for our date and dressed it up with a colorful neck piece and a red lip. Adding a bit of color on the face and around it is the easiest and most effortless way to brighten up one’s look. Especially if you’re feeling tired – a bright lip adds instant life to the face!

I had colored my hair with the L’Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss just a few days prior and was basking in the glow of freshly colored hair! I used the shade #316 Plum which is a rich brown with plum and burgundy tones. I always find plum tones very flattering on myself (love plum eye shadows!) and a tint of it in my hair makes my skin glow. You all know how I love my bold lip colors – my favorites being fuchsia and red and both shades coordinate so well with plum!

The Casting Creme Gloss hair color adds a soft glimmer and shine to the hair so that your hair looks fabulous even without any styling. I had to tie up my hair since Tokyo is quite windy but I would otherwise keep it open to flaunt my new hair color! Amazing Indian food at Darjeeling Restaurant, Tokyo. Ahh the joy of good indian food abroad!

Celebrating our special occasion, reliving the memories from our recent Mount Fuji trip and enjoying some delicious Indian food, my husband and I had a memorable evening! Even though I was super tired from our trip, I felt beautiful with my glossy freshly colored hair and pretty red lipstick (Lincoln Rose from L’Oreal Moist Matte range). The cozy ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our special evening! And a few admiring glances form the husband across the table completed my memorable Khoobsurat Moment!
