It seems like its raining sales everywhere! Amazon India has some tempting offers on L’Oreal Paris and Maybelline (10% or more discount) and I thought of giving you some ideas on what to pick if you are interested in the sale. I have previously done a post on the Best Maybelline Products and this post I’m talking about the Top Must-have products from L’Oreal Paris! (The sale ends tomorrow 15th September so place your order soon!)
1. L’Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss Hair color (
Rs 545 Rs 518)
This is the best hair color I’ve used! My mum has been using this for years and she loves it as well! Its easy to use at home, there are loads of great shades to choose from and the color it gives is semi-permanent and hence looks quite natural! See my review of shade Plum HERE. I also recommend shades Dark Chocolate and Chocolate.
2. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eye shadows (Rs 500)
Trust me when I say this – these are the most pigmented, intense, long wearing and affordable eye shadows you can find! Endless Chocolate is an all time favorite of mine that I would highly recommend! I also like Burning Black, Forever Pink and All Night Blue. All shades from the range are swatched here.
3. L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara (
Rs 795 Rs 731)
This is an absolutely fantastic mascara that adds length and volume to the lashes. Love the jet black color, the slight wet formula (easier to layer and no flaking) and the plumping effect it gives to my lashes. Highly recommended! Reviewed here.
4. L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte lipstick (
Rs 899 Rs 764)
I don’t like matte lipsticks at all but these are so comfortable, you’d forget you have a matte lip color on your lips! Love the smooth texture, intense color pay off and long wear time. My favorites are the brights – Lincoln Rose, Flaming Kiss and Raspberry Syrup. Only downside is that they might break at the base so be cautious during application.
5. L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Gloss Bella (Rs 499)
This is my all time favorite pink lip gloss. I have raved plenty about this so I’ll keep it short – has a thin, non-sticky texture, medium color and coverage, gorgeous super flattering warm pink shade and it wears really long. And its comfortable and moisturizing as well. The Shine Caresse glosses are a MUST-HAVE and my favorite shades are Bella, of course and a nude shade Lolita that I like to wear over a nude lip liner. Reviewed here.
6. L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nail Polish (Rs 235)
The L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nail polishes are pretty great because they are pigmented, quick drying and long wearing. What else would one want from a polish? I LOVE the shade Boudoir Rose – such a great flattering soft rose shade. The shade range is pretty huge and I have swatched plenty of shades from the range – check the swatches here, here, here and here.
7. L’Oreal Paris Lip Liner : Toffee (Rs 250)
This is an excellent neutral lip liner which would be perfect for medium to dusky complexions. I love a great nude liner because you ca use it as a base for light and sheer lipsticks and glosses to make the color show up better (on pigmented lips). The texture is smooth, almost creamy, it doesn’t dry out the lips and imparts quite a lot of pigment to the lips. This paired with Shine Caresse Gloss in Lolita makes a fantastic nude lip!
8. L’Oreal Paris Glam Shine Balmy Gloss Lip crayon (Rs 400)
2013 was the year of Lip Crayons! I tried loads of brands but the most affordable one was definitely the L’Oreal Glam shine (love the shade Pomegranate Punch!). Its basically a gloss in a crayon form. The texture is soft and smooth, color pay off is great and love the price of course!
9. L’Oreal Paris Glam Shine Lip Gloss : Mauve (Rs 925)
If you don’t mind slightly sticky glosses, the L’Oreal Glam Shines are pretty great because they stay on really long (for a gloss). I love the shade Mauve from the range because its the perfect neutral pink tone for Indian skin and offer good coverage. It is also shimmer-free unlike other shades from the range. Perfect day-time/office wear shade for medium to dusky girls. Reviewed HERE.
This is basically a smooth and creamy gel liner in a pen form. I first tried the shade Glamor Gold first which was dry and stiff but the shades Black and Deep Brown are quite creamy. I am myself going to get these once my current black/brown liners get over. I swatched these at the store and they were pretty fantastic – super creamy with rich, dark pigment!
