Makeup Look : Winged Liner with Bright Pink Lips

Hey everyone!

For Day 11 of the September Daily Look Challenge, I did a simple bright look with winged liner, pale gold eye shadow and pop of pink on the lips! I love these kind of easy looks that don’t take much effort but add a lot of life and color to the face!

I’m wearing the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in shade Infamous here.

How to create this eye makeup look :

– I used a sparkly gold shade #1 all over the lid. I used a fluffy brush to blend and buff the color.

– To highlight the inner corner and browbone, I used shade #2 from the palette.

– To line my upper lash line, I used a black gel liner and created a wing at the outer edge.

– I finished the look with a pair of false eye lashes.

Love your whole look! Your top and earrings suit your make up. What do you think of mac pro long wear concealer ?did you use a foundation for this look? I recently bought the revlon cheek highlighter in bronze glow. I really like the colour and consistency.

Hi ankita.. Yesterday I attempted this same look… & used sm pigments to highlight the cheek bone area but I hv open pores problem & my pores are visible after applying highlighter.. I want to minimize them naturally & with makeup too plz give ur suggestions. hw to minimize the open pores…

    • September 14, 2014 / 1:26 pm

Hi Joo, use a softer highlighter – with less shimmer and use it only on the top of the cheek bones, not on the entire cheek. For minimizing the look of pores, keep your face well cleansed (scrub at least once a week with a gentle scrub and use clay based packs like multani mitti). To minimize them using makeup, I'd recommend using loose powder on a cotton puff and pressing it into the skin instead of swiping with a brush, that will make the pores smaller. Using a silicone based primer before foundation also helps reduce the look of pores – try the Colorbar Perfect Match Primer.
