I used to be a MAC eye shadow snob for a while but lately I’ve discovered some amazing eye shadows in other brands. One of my best finds has definitely been The Body Shop Color Crush eye shadows. I have tried 2 shades from the range (peachy-gold shade reviewed HERE) and both are stellar!
Price : Rs 695 for 1.5 g
The texture of these eye shadows is silky smooth, the color pay off is amazing, they blend like a dream and stay put for an easy 9+ hours with no fading or creasing. I have mildly oily lids and I do not wear eye primer on a regular basis. The wear of these eye shadows is just flawless! I highly HIGHLY recommend these if you haven’t tried these yet. If The Body Shop does a palette with the Color Crush eye shadows, I’d be the first in line to get it!
Shade no. is a vibrant fuchsia pink shade with a slight bluish sheen. The shade is quite rich and intense, its not a color one would wear everyday but I love it. I almost always end up picking neutrals and I wanted to try something different and this beautiful color caught my eye. I wore this blended with a soft brown in the crease with winged liner and mascara – a simple look with the bright eye shadow as the focus. I kept the rest of my face very neutral with a sheer pink gloss on the lips. I loved how it looked on my eyes!
