Today I’m reviewing the Benefit Cha Cha Tint that was recently featured in my last week’s favorites post. I purchased this as part of the Go Tropicoral Kit, hence this is a miniature version – a mini replica of the actual Cha Cha Tint bottle that contains 12.5 mL (the mini version contains 3.85 ml).
Benefit says : This mango-tinted stain beautifully blushes lips & cheeks with a tropical coral hue. Smooch-proof & smudge-proof, our sheer stain has a natural finish that will leave you looking deliciously vibrant for hours.
My take on the Product
The Benefit Cha Cha tint is a vibrant coral stain that can be used on the lips or cheeks. Benefit products always have beautiful packaging and this is no exception. I love the metallic coral color of the bottle! The cap comes with a brush inside that picks up the tint as you unscrew the cap. You need to dab the product directly on the skin and blend it quickly. The consistency is quite runny but it feels a tad creamier than Benetint – Benefit’s Rose tint which is very watery. It is quite pigmented and stains the skin really quickly, so you need to blend real quick for a uniform flush. The formula is really light and sinks into the skin fully giving a beautiful coral hue to the cheeks. Once it sinks in, it doesn’t budge for hours. While I absolutely LOVED it on my cheeks, it just didn’t work as a lip stain. Because I have pigmented lips, this stained my lips very unevenly which was not at all flattering. I still love it as cheek stain especially because it is so long lasting (8+ hours)!
Benefit describes this color as a mango tint – it comes out a beautiful coral on my cheeks and the color is quite vibrant. It is brighter and richer than any coral blush I’ve tried and because its a stain, it looks more natural than a regular blush. I absolutely love this color, I think it instantly makes me look fresher, healthier and like I’m on a tropical holiday! I would highly recommend this to everyone! I think Benetint works better for lighter skin, on my medium skin tone I really need to layer it but Cha Cha tint works its magic with a tiny amount of product!
Overall, I really love the color, the longevity and the ease of use (just dab and blend with fingers). The only thing that disappointed me was that it didn’t work as a lip stain for me.

Benefit Cha Cha Tint on my cheeks (color is more vibrant in person) –
(I used it on the lips too but it looked very patchy so I used MAC Boldly Bare lip pencil to even my lips out. Finished with a thin layer of Benefit Coralista gloss) –
