Revlon Highlighting Palette – Peach Glow, Bronze Glow, Rose Glow : Swatches

Hey everyone!

I was passing by a Revlon counter and I just popped over to see if the Colorburst Matte and Lacquer Balms had launched but spotted these instead. The Revlon Highlighting palettes take after the iconic Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks – 5 strips of complementing shimmer powders to add a radiant glow to the skin. These are available in 3 shades – 01 Peach Glow, 02 Rose Glow and 03 Bronze Glow.

I swirled all the shades together for these swatches (on NC40 skin tone) –

[note color=”#FFE4C4″]I found the texture to be quite smooth and the shimmer as you can see is quite understated except for Rose Glow which seems to have *slightly* obvious shimmer. I didn’t pick one but I’m thinking of getting Peach Glow next time. At first glance, Rose Glow seems best suited for pale skin, Peach Glow for medium skin while Bronze Glow would be lovely on deeper skin. These are available in Japan for 1800 JPYΒ which is roughly Rs 1050 (I spotted these in Loft, Ginza) and in the US for $10.99. I think these should be available in India soon too.

  1. I’ve seen so many reviews about these and the Skin Lights Highlighting Primer. Apparently these are less shimmery and more satiney than the Bobbi Brown ones.

WHEN are they coming to India? πŸ™

  2. These remind me so much of BB Shimmer Bricks! Unfortunately, Revlon seems to be pulling out of Belgium! Last time I tried to check out the display, it wasn’t where it’s supposed to be anymore (it’s really hard to find one to begin with). I don’t understand: Revlon seems to be getting quite some love recently!
