This week’s Favorites is a bit of a luxury edition featuring products from NARS, Estee lauder, Clarins with the exception of one product from Bourjois.
Bourjois Mega liner
This latest launch by Bourjois has been my favorite liner past few weeks. It is a felt tip liner featuring a huge marker style angled tip – great for doing winged liner! The formula is super black, stays well but it easy to remove. After using many thin-tipped liners, I’m really liking this as I like my liner on the thicker side.
NARS Nepal eye shadow
NARS describes Nepal as a ‘soft sheer rose‘ and its a great color for everyday wear. This is my most used eye shadow from the NARSissist eye shadow palette which I showed you HERE. The formula is buttery smooth, very pigmented and long wearing. Nepal looks great by itself and layered over a gold cream eye shadow like MAC Indianwood Paint Pot.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick : Red Tango
I don’t normally go for orangey reds but this time I did with this lipstick! The formula is luxurious – soft, buttery texture, excellent color pay off and reasonably good wear time. I used this in my Emma Watson Oscars Makeup tutorial HERE. For day to day, I just dab a little bit on my lips using my finger for a lovely soft red stain. Full review with swatches coming soon. Price : Rs 1750.
Clarins Instant Smooth Mousse Foundation
This is a great foundation if you want a natural look yet need some coverage. The mousse-like slippery texture is easy to blend and layer, it evens out the texture of the skin giving a very smooth look and once set properly with powder, gives excellent wear time. I’ve had this for a while and have reviewed it in detail HERE. Price : Rs 1800 (may have gone up now)
