Video Tutorial : Emma Watson Oscars 2014 Makeup

Hey everyone!

One of my favorite looks this year at the Oscars Red Carpet was Emma Watson’s Red lip look. She looks fresh, youthful yet glamorous! I’ve recreated the look with a little bit of tweaking of the shades to suit my complexion. Hope you enjoy the video and find the tutorial useful! 1. Love the tutorial ! I actually discovered ur blog a year back and since them have been visiting it every single day number of times, My day is just incomplete without it, I always look forward to ur reviews tutorials and everything as they are so honest and u cover everything so well, u are definitely my idol when it comes to makeup! And these video and picture tutorials i just love them as I get to learn so much, please keep them coming πŸ™‚

  2. Hello Ankitha, I have been a regular reader of your blog and have always enjoyed the tutorials which you do. Here is a special request from my end. Could you please do a review of the Brush you have used for applying foundation in this tutorial? I have seen you using these brushes couple of times in your previous tutorials and I am very eager to know how well they work.
    Cheers!! πŸ™‚

  3. Hey Ankita, what a great tutorial! I have never tried to use a light color on my lower lash line. Now I kinda wonder what it’ll look like! Got to try it some day πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Sunny πŸ™‚ It makes the eyes look very fresh! Just make sure you use something close to your skin tone. I think going too light might not have the same effect!

  4. awesome tutorial i started reading your blog just few months back but m completely hooked on to it cant even go a day without reading your blog!!! just a request your video was just a bit too bright your previous videos (from India) were just perfect….u can please adjust that then its golden.. and red suits you alot

    1. I can't think of a dupe but there are loads of reds available in brands such as Maybelline, Revlon and Lakme. One really nice warm toned red for Indian skin is Runway Red from Lakme Absolute creme lipstick range. Maybelline Colorsensational has lots of reds to choose from too.

  5. I love how you’ve gone one step further to actually make video tutorials.. πŸ™‚ this is a super pretty look and I love Emma Watson πŸ˜€ you look really lovely!

  6. Nice tutorial Ankita…You look gorgeous πŸ™‚ can you please do a separate post on the make up brushes you have used in this post for foundation, concealing and loose powder application. I am looking out for such brushes
