Chambor has recently revamped their Powder Matte lipstick range with a few additions and #176 Pink Flamingo is one of them. If you’re into bright hot pinks, this one would be right up your street!

My take on the Product
The new packaging is sleeker and I like it more compared to the velvety finish of the old one which was prone to dust. The colored label at the bottom makes it easy to locate the shade in your stash. The lipstick feels quite slick and smooth in texture, is super pigmented and doesn’t dry out the lips. But I’m not a big fan as it clings to even the tiniest bit of dryness on the lips. It feels quite creamy and glides smoothly on the lips and settles to a more powdery matte finish in some time. Because of the slippery texture, it can look *slightly* uneven and patchy and you may need a lip brush to even things out. But even with this small drawback, Chambor Powder mattes remain one of the more comfortable matte lipsticks I’ve tried. They are not transfer-proof but being quite staining, this one stayed a long time on the lips. I did not experience any feathering or bleeding of color during the 5 hours I wore it for.
Pink Flamingo is a gorgeous bright hot pink shade. My pictures don’t do justice to how vibrant the color is! What I love about it is that its bright but not garishly neon so it doesn’t look clownish on me. This one is definitely not for the fainthearted but you can always work it as a stain for a softer look!
I’m personally not too fond of matte lipsticks (in general) but for if you are, do check this out! Chambor does make good quality lipsticks overall and I have loved using the Truly Lasting range and the Rouge + Plump range previously.
