I have a soft spot for highlighters, especially gold based ones! I picked up MUFE’s Star Powder #902 many moons ago from medplusbeauty.com and have been using it a lot past few days.
Price : $20 (I bought it for Rs 900 approx.)
What the brand says about the star powders :
This shimmering, silky powder catches the light and gives the skin a unique glow. Easy to use and suitable for all skin types, this powder combines an extremely fine yet dense texture. Only a small amount is necessary for a visible and fabulous result.
My take on the Product
MUFE’s description of the star powder is spot on! Its basically a loose pigment – fine, silky yet quite dense. Its absolutely non-gritty and blends into the skin like a dream. It comes in a small jar with a sifter which doesn’t do much to contain the product. As a result, the packaging gets a little messy. But on the upside, it doesn’t fly around like loose powder when you open the lid. #902 is a pale gold shade that is one of my all time favorite highlighters! I like it a lot because its not too yellow-y and hence looks quite soft and natural. It imparts the softest golden sheen to the skin! I use it on the inner corners of my eyes, along my cheekbones and along my browbone and it adds a beautiful glow to my skin. I think this would be super flattering on warm skin tones in general. The gold micro shimmer in the formula is very refined and doesn’t migrate across the cheeks. It doesn’t draw attention to pores either (provided you don’t use too much!). I absolutely LOVE this product. If only pigments weren’t so messy to use, I would use this more often!
If you’re looking for a highlighter that gives just the right golden glow – check this out! The powder has a wonderfully silky yet dense texture, great pigmentation and blends easily into the skin. I only wish it was better packaged so it wouldn’t feel as messy to use!

I picked it from medplusbeauty.com. They no longer carry this particular shade but have a few others you could try.
