Inspired by MAC’s season trends, I created this two-toned lip look. One of the top trends this season is a deep red lip and you can add a little extra to the look by using darker plum color towards the corners of the lips. Read on to see what I used for this look..
To create this lip, I used ~
– MAC Ruby Woo lipstick (Centre of the lips)
– MAC Rebel lipstick (outer 1/3rd of the lips)
– MAC Dark Diversion fluidline (outer 1/4th of the lips)
– A lip brush (absolute must to blend the lip color!)
I did a lot of layering with the lip to get a really deep rich color. I just wish I had MAC’s Basic Red pigment to add to the center of the lips, that would have made the red really pop!
I kept the skin very polished – velvety in the center and a luminous on the cheeks with just a hint of contour and blush. For the eyes, I used a subtle gold eye shadow (Estee Lauder Shadow Paint – Chained) and defined the upper lash line with black liner. I applied a hint of dark eye shadow on the outer corners and finished off with a pair of false eye lashes!
