I visited the Clinique Store for the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ Launch few days back and took the opportunity to check out some of the new launches! In the past few months, Clinique has launched new Nail Enamels (A Different Nail Enamel), Chubby Stick for the Eyes, CC Cream and the Chubby Stick Intense (for lips). I swatched a few of these ranges, hope you find this post helpful!
Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes (Rs 1025)
I found only 7 shades at the store from this range which contains 12 shades. I picked up Fuller Fudge!
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense for Lips (Rs 1025)
I’ve reviewed 3 shades from the original Chubby Stick (sheer) range. The Chubby Stick Intense pack more pigment than the original version and I love the shade range! I have Chunkiest Chilli and I’m eyeing Mightiest Maraschino for my next Clinique store visit.
Clinique Age Defense BB Cream
I’ve not tried a sample of this but according to the SA, this gives light coverage and has a velvety texture – works better for slightly oilier skin types. It has SPF 30 protection and I found 4 shades in the testers. Like the fact that there is a deep shade for duskier complexions.
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream
There are 6 shades in this range but only 5 testers were available at the store. A fairly good shade range when you compare to other brands that come out with 2 or at max 3 shades. The texture is richer and more hydrating than the BB cream. I picked up a sample (my shade is second from the left in the swatches) and I quite like the lovely glow it gives to my skin. The finish is a bit dewy so I definitely need to powder on top. One thing I noticed was that the shades didn’t have enough yellow tones so some of these shades would look a little ashy on some complexions.
Clinique Quick Liner Intense for eyes (Rs 1200)
These are absolutely amazing! Super pigmented, super soft and creamy with smudge proof finish. I had wanted Intense Chocolate for a long time but it was always out of stock, finally picked it up! The pictures were taken from my point and shoot (not my DSLR) so the quality is not that good and they dont do justice to some of the shades here – like Intense Ivy which is a beautiful green!
Clinique A Different Nail Enamel
[note color=”#FFEECA”]I know the picture quality isn’t great because I carry my smaller camera instead of my DSLR to events now. But if you find this post useful and want me to do more store visit/swatch posts, do let me know in the comments below!
Did any of these products catch your eye? [/note]
