Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive 2013 : Day 2
Makeup Artist Clint Fernandes created this gorgeous look for Designer Shantanu Goenka at Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week today! The look comprised of a dramatic black kohl along the lower rim of the eyes that enhanced the shape of the eyes, glowing bronzed cheeks and a stunning glossy red lip.
Paired with the opulent head pieces and luxurious black and gold ensembles, the makeup completed the picture of luxury, grandeur and glamour that Shantanu created with his designs! This was one of my favorite looks from today and I think the models looks absolutely royal in this look! This definitely spells Winter Festive/Royal to me which is the theme this season.

The eyes are simple yet dramatic for this look. Start by applying a wash of soft copperypink eye shadow all over the lid. I’d recommend the Lakme Eye shadow quartet in Desert Rose for this look. For the dramatic liner, Clint used the Lakme Absolute Ultimate Kohl to draw an exaggerated line that extended inwards (down) and outwards (up) giving a feline look to the eyes. You can keep this line thin to make the look wearable. Apply lots of mascara to finish off the eye makeup.
Apply a good coverage foundation (like the Lakme Absolute White Intense Cover) and set it with powder. To get the golden bronzed glow, sweep a shimmery bronzer like the Lakme Absolute Sunkissed Bronzer lightly under the cheekbones and blend towards the apples of the cheeks. If you want to add more color to the cheeks, you can use Lakme Blush in shade Peach Affair on the apples of the cheeks. Highlight the cheekbones using the lighter shade from the Sunkissed Bronzer.
Tip : Use a cotton bud to refine the edges of the liner and get a perfect pointed wing!
The gorgeous glossy red lip adds the real touch of glamour to this look. To achieve this look, Clint used Lakme Enrich Satin lipstick in shade #464 and topped it with Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist in shade Berry Cherry! Use a lip brush to apply the lipstick and blot and reapply to get deep, intense color. Top it with a thin layer of gloss starting from the center of the lips.
