My take on the Product
The Chambor Glitzy gloss comes in a slim tube packaging with a doe foot applicator. The packaging is quite compact and sleek and the applicator gives perfectly even application.
The texture of the lip gloss is absolutely non-sticky. It is pigmented and very creamy – almost like a liquid lipstick. Despite being very pigmented and opaque, it feels very light on the lips. Like most other Chambor lip products, its very hydrating on the lips and gives a soft, naturally plumped look. The only downside is the wear time. Since its quite creamy, it tends to transfer easily when you snack/drink and that lowers the wear time. It does stain the lips a little so the lips aren’t completely devoid of color. With mild snacking/sips of water, I get about 3-4 hours of wear at best. If you don’t eat anything in between, it will probably wear much better! What is great though is that it doesn’t get patchy on the lips like very creamy lip products tend to be sometimes. It stays quite even when is fades and the color doesn’t settle into lines. Like all Chambor products, it has a light coconut/cookie batter-ish scent which I personally find quite warm and comforting! Its not strong so it shouldn’t be an issue for someone who doesn’t like it.
If you have dry lips and like the look of richly pigmented lip colors, this is a MUST-TRY! I love how comforting the formula feels and despite the low wear time, would love to pick up another color from this range!
Shade no. 643 is a mix of peachy brown and pink. Its a cream color and does not contain any shimmer. This wasn’t easy to photograph because it looks different on me with different eye/cheek makeup and with changes in lighting. In flash and with pinker blushes, in looks much pinker (worn HERE) while without flash, it looks warmer and much more brick than pink. In person, its warmer and not as pink as it looked in my NYX Spice review. I think its a great shade for medium to dusky skin tones and I’d highly recommend it!
I have applied a thin layer on my lips, you could wear it layered for a more intense color ~
The GOOD about Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense (643) Lipgloss :
- Sleek, compact packaging
- Creamy, non sticky texture
- Richly pigmented
- Gives opaque color in single swipe
- Very hydrating and comforting formula
- Doesn’t get patchy as it fades
- Great color!
The NOT-SO-GOOD about Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense (643) Lipgloss :
- Transfers easily
- Low wear time
Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense Lipgloss is one of the best pigmented lip glosses in the Indian market. The rich, creamy formula gives opaque color in single swipe. The texture is absolutely non-sticky and it feels very lightweight yet intensely hydrating on the lips. It doesn’t however stay too long since its very creamy and non-sticky but the formula feels so rich and comfortable that I don’t mind that at all!
643 is a gorgeous brick color – mix of peachy brown with a hint of pink that’ll be very flattering on all skin tones, especially duskier complexions! Highly recommended!
