Today I’m reviewing an amazing pocket friendly lip gloss ~ Rimmel London Vinyl gloss ‘Lovesick‘.
Price : Rs 245 for 4.5 g
My take on the product
The Rimmel London lip gloss comes in a comes in a standard round tube packaging. The tube is slightly tapered with a smaller bottom and wider cap. It comes with a doe foot applicator. Despite being quite budget friendly, the packaging is not flimsy or tacky!
The lip gloss has a lovely non-sticky texture. Its not too pigmented and gives a sheer wash of color to the lips. The formula feels very comfortable on the lips – moisturizing and softening. It doesn’t get gloopy or tacky over time. Its doesn’t survive full meals so a touch up is required after. But with mild snacking/drinking, it stays a decent 3 hours on me. The gloss adds a lovely shine and volume to the lips. I love the formula, its just so effortless and easy to wear! The shade Lovesick is a sheer berry pink color with fine shimmer. The shimmer is non-gritty and subtle and doesn’t show much on the lips. Since the color is quite sheer, it looks very natural on my lips and just adds a lovely pink glow to my lips. For everyday wear, this is a gorgeous shade!
