Inglot’s latest collection (Hawaiian Bar) was launched in stores a few months ago and I was instantly drawn to the brightest pink blush of the lot! It wasn’t in stock at that time but on my most recent visit to Inglot, I found it. I wish it had a pretty name like Strawberry Margarita but we have to be content with no. 48.
Price : Rs 350 for refill pan
My take on the Product
Inglot Freedom system blushes are excellent value for money – they are smooth in texture, finely milled, very pigmented and deliver decent staying power. At Rs 350, its the best one can get! The blush texture isn’t too powdery and doesn’t kick up excess product when a brush is swiped across. The silky texture makes for easy blending and uniform color. It is very pigmented so one needs to be a little careful during application, its easy to go overboard with the color. It doesn’t get patchy or uneven as it fades. The staying power is good – I got over 6 hours of wear. Overall, I love the formula!
The color is a vivid bright warm pink. It doesn’t contain shimmer and has a satiny finish. The color looks pretty bright in the pan but on the cheeks its a really pretty soft pink. Since the color is quite saturated, it would show well on duskier complexions too without looking pale or chalky. I personally love the color! Paired with sheer pink lipstick/gloss, it gives a very fresh, summery look to the face. If you’re someone with a lot of natural redness/blemishes, make sure to use a foundation underneath for some coverage. Bright pinks/reddish pink blushes tend to emphasize the natural redness of the skin.
I’m not sure if this collection is available online but it is available in stores. If you like pink blushes, do give this one a try!
**The blush is brighter and pinker in person.
