Do you like Handmade soaps? | Oilcraft Naturals Handmade soaps

Hey everyone!

I just got back from a trip to my hometown Bhopal yesterday and I was delighted to find these amazing smelling handmade soaps from Oilcraft Naturals waiting at home for me. If this brand seems familiar to you, you must be thinking of their amazing face mists which I’d reviewed a while back HERE.

I’m a total shower gel person but some of these soaps smell just so lovely – you can’t help but smell them over and over! Each is priced at Rs 150 and can be purchased online from the Oilcraft Naturals website. They have 15 varieties in the handmade soaps.

[note color=”#FFE4C4″]From the 8 soaps pictured here, I absolutely loved Orange & Patchouli, Wild Green Apple and Wild Strawberry  – basically all the fruity ones! As for my mum who loves florals, she couldn’t stop smelling the Madurai Jasmine and Mogra one!

btw ankita, at the risk of sounding stupid, i had to ask this – what exactly is the difference between a normal soap and a natural soap? apart from being handmade and containing essential oils, are the base ingredients different?

      hi Jyoti

handmade soaps are generally made using mixture of sodium hydroxide which is called lye and oils and its extremely friendly for skin and it has natural glycerin in it. whereas normal soaps have SLS and other commercial ingredients.

Dunno if they qualify as handmade, but a colleague gave me fabindia soaps for my birthday. rose, lavender and a citrus one. Totally in love with them.
