My March 2013 Empties

Hey everyone!

This is the first time I’m doing an empties post. I just realized I’d used up quite a few products during March and I thought of doing an ’empties’ post while I was figuring out my monthly favorites post for March.

Apart from bath/body/skin care products, for the first time I used up an eye pencil – Lakme Eyeconic Kajal and I realized I’d gone through it while I was in the car doing my makeup while heading to Fashion week! I’m not a huge fan of kajals but I really like this formula and use it on the upper lash line often, which is why it got used up fully :). Have you ever finished up a makeup product?

1. Cosmedic Avederm Soothing Facial Cleanser

Excellent cleanser for sensitive skin. You can read full review HERE.

2. Vichy Purete Thermale Purifying Foaming Water

Also a great cleanser for those looking for something gentle yet effective. Full review HERE.

3. Organic Surge eye gel

This was highly recommended by many readers but it didn’t really do anything extraordinary for me. Its gel based so better suited for normal to oily under eye area. Didn’t help with pigmentation or puffiness. A little disappointed.

4. Clean and Clean Blackhead clearing daily scrub

I’ve gone through many tubes of this. Not my HG scrub but works well for my skin – doesn’t actually clear blackheads fully but does cleanse the skin well. And its very affordable!

5. Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover

Love this one! I think this is my 4th bottle! Review HERE.

6. Colorbar Nail Polish Remover

Since I change my polish often, I go through these pretty quickly. I prefer the Lakme one though, it takes off polish more easily compared to this one.

7. Lakme Eyeconic kajal

Love the creamy texture and budgeproof staying power! I’m quite pleased with myself since I’ve never finished an eye pencil before! Reviewed HERE.

8. Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem cleanser

I love the fragrance and how gentle it is on my skin! Full review HERE.

9. The Body Shop Body Mist : White Musk Blush

I love the subtle scent – its feminine without being cloying or sweet, great for day wear and appropriate for college/work as well!

10. The Body Shop Body Mist : White Mush Libertine

Similar to White Musk Blush but I don’t like it as much as I like the former! Still a good scent for those who like subtle fragrances.

10. The Body Shop Shower gel : Pear and Lemongrass

I love the fresh pear note of this balanced with the crisp lemongrass! The formula lathers sufficiently well and doesn’t dry out the skin. I picked this up at 50% off during the sale along with the Watermelon one.

11. Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo

Lastly, I finished up this baby shampoo which I’d been using for washing my brushes. I alternate between this and Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo for brush cleansing!
