I’m doing a Celebrity inspired look post after a while today! The inspiration behind this look is Adele’s Oscars 2013 Makeup. She wore a heavily lined eye with false lashes and a soft rosy lip/cheek combination. I loved her look and I thought she looked absolutely flawless!
Adele’s skin tone and hair/brow color is lighter which is why the black liner on her looks much more dramatic compared to how it looks on me. I layered 3 products to get an intense black color on the eyes - Lakme Absolute Ulimate Kohl, L’Oreal Paris Black gel liner and L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Black Lacquer (liquid liner).
Eyeshadows used : MAC All That Glitters (all over lid, inner corner), MAC Brun (crease), Inglot DS 463 (browbone)
For the face, I applied Clinique Anti-Blemish solutions liquid makeup in no.4, topped it with Lakme Absolute compact powder and used MAC Mocha blush under the cheekbones. Her skin looks quite flawless and matte which is why I chose these high coverage matte base products. She also generally wears her blush like a contour instead of on the apples of the cheeks for a more structured, slimmer look.
For the lips, I mixed Colorbar lip Liner in Nude Pink and Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Rosy Nude! A similar lip color would be Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense lipstick Mat 4. I did pat down the color with my finger for a more matte look but the flash is making it look a little glossier than it is.
