Today I’m reviewing one of my favorite MAC eye shadows – Bronze.
Price : Rs 720 for 1.5 g (refill), Rs 900 for single
My take on the Product
MAC Bronze eye shadow is everything one desires in a good eye shadow formula – its has soft, smooth texture, great pigmentation and has barely any fall out. It blends well and has a decent staying power. On my oily lids, I get about 5-6 hours of wear with no primer but with a primer underneath, it easily wears over 8 hours. Even though the wear time isn’t poor, I still wish it was better without a primer. The formula is really easy to work with, you can sheer it out for a soft wash of color or layer it up and blend it with darker shades/kohl for a more intense smokey look.
The shade has a lovely soft pearl finish – its suitable for day as well as evening wear. The shade would work beautifully for all skin tones though it might look a bit more dramatic on paler complexions. Its not a true bronze shade but a mix of copper and bronze so it has the slight reddish undertone to it. Its a shade that’ll go with most eye colors. If you like soft metallic eye shadows, do give this a try! It is one of my favorite neutral eye shadow, one I reach out for often! Highly recommended!
