Hey everyone!

A long time ago I announced the new feature Smokey Fridays but since that day, somehow, every Friday I ended up doing something else. With this Vibrant Smokey green eye look today, I’m reinstating Smokey Fridays!

Playing with eye makeup is one of my favorite things about makeup. I realized I hadn’t done an elaborate, vibrant look in a while and I decided to do a green look today with my new BH Cosmetics 88 Shimmer Palette. Hope you like the look! Don’t forget to leave your comments below!

I would pair a soft dusty peach blush like MAC Melba and a coordinating lip color like Lakme Peach Carnation or MAC Spice Lip pencil with this eye makeup!

What would you wear with a vibrant green smokey eye?

Looks great with your eye colour. I had done a similar look for one of the weddings I had to attend and paired it off with a peach lipstick.

I have a question though, when we use such bright colours on the lid the highligter on the brow looks kind of dull. Have you faced such issues? Also, what kind of brush should we use to apply the highlighter on the brow bone cos it never comes across as smooth.

I use a fluffy blending brush generally for highlighter – MAC 222.

Generally when wearing bright colors on the lid, its better to wear a subtle highlighter to balance the look, go for low shimmer finish ones.

I think very few people can carry off green on their eyes. You are definitely one :D Your eotd is just sooo fabulous !

Stunning look.. Love the way you have done. I’m pretty scared of trying bright colours..
I suppose these palettes are almost equally good as high end brands..
The colours look well pigmented and very nice..

Super stunning! I loved this look! It would look so good with nude lips. I have a gold anarkali with emerald stones and pearls embroidered on it and I think I’ll try this out next time I wear that for a wedding or something.
