Red and Gold together generally symbolizes bridal makeup for me, like this nail art which I tried yesterday night ~

Polishes used :

  • Lancome Le Vernis 102 (from Golden Hat Foundation Collection)
  • Colorbar Glitterati Disco Gold
  • Oriflame Base Coat

This is pretty easy to create – start with a base coat followed by 2 coats of your favorite red nail paint. Next apply the glitter nail paint starting from 3/4th of the way from the top of the nail, leaving the bottom most 1/4th of the nails glitter-free. Do a second coat of the glitter starting half-way from the top of the nail and a third coat only on the tip of the nail. This will create a gradient with the glitter density highest at the tips.

What do you think of this nail look, would you wear it?

Lovely…. Hi Ankita, would like to know your handcare routine, what do you do to pamper your hands ??

Hi Shruti, I don’t do much except moisturizing my hands well. I keep small tubes of moisturizer like Vaseline Total Moisture (sample tubes) etc. around the house, in my purse etc. and just keep moisturizing any time my fingers or cuticles get dry. Apart from this, I think including ghee and vitamin supplements in the diet helps in keeping the skin supple and moisturized from within, I take a Multi-vitamin supplement everyday.

Its sooo pretty…just love that pic where you have wrapped gold chain in your fingers. Its adding a nice touch of gold and making it look even more bridal and traditional :)
