Corallista Beauty Awards 2012 : Lip Products

Hey everyone!

Hope you’re having a great first weekend of the New Year! I’m still in *vacation* mode but coming week it’ll be back to business with product reviews and looks/tutorials. I have a new camera (Sony A-65) so I’m quite psyched about exploring it more especially for my tutorials! I am currently testing some lovely skin care and makeup products that I’m quite excited to write about!

So far, you’ve seen a Skin/Hair segment, Face & cheeks and Eyes segment of Corallista Beauty Awards 2012. This post contains all of the best lip products I tried this year – placed in different categories. Hope you enjoy reading this compilation, don’t forget to drop your favorites in the comments below!

    1. Hi Zaymal, for that look you need a heavy jet black kohl like MAC Feline kohl or Lakme Absolute Ultimate Kohl and a matte grey or taupe eye shadow like L’Oreal Paris Infallible eye shadow – Pebble Grey. Line your waterlines with the kohl, then smudge some kohl on the lid near the lash line, sweep the grey eye shadow all over the lid softening the edges of the kohl. You can add some black matte eye shadow in the crease/outer corner if you like. For the lower lash line – apply the grey eye shadow along it mixing it with the black kohl on the waterline for a smokey look. For the finishing touch, line the upper lash line with black liner again and use a dramatic mascara. The key to this look is keeping the eyes completely lined with kohl – right till the tear duct.

  2. Thanks for the list!

I have tried every single balm from Body shop to Vaseline to Himayalas to Maybelline but nothing has worked on my super dry lips. After looking at your post I’ll definately try Kiehls. what’s the price.

On the lipsticks agree with you about the Colorbar Lipsticks. they really are very affordable and provide good coverage. Can’t say the same about Maybelline though.
